Cancelling a vote

1. Visit the DAO dApp and connect your wallet. Select the Proposals tab.

2. Locate the proposal you wish to cancel your vote for in the list and click the Vote button.

3. In the proposal details screen, select Cancel Vote. (note if you wish to change your vote to the other side, you can click change vote, and the follow the same steps you took to vote originally)

4. Confirm you wish to cancel your vote

5. Confirm transaction in your web3 wallet

6. Transaction confirmed! You’ve successfully cancelled your vote.

Step by step walkthrough:

1. In the Bumper DAO dApp, make sure your wallet is connected and then select the Proposals tab .

   
2. You’ll now see a list of proposals, and their current state. Locate the proposal you wish to change your vote for and click the Vote button. Note, you can only cancel (or change) your vote whilst the voting period is still active.

   
3. In the proposal details screen, click on Cancel vote (or click Change Vote if you wish to vote the other way, and then follow the same steps you took when you previously voted).

   
4. You’ll be asked to confirm you wish to cancel your vote. Tick the checkbox and hit Confirm to continue.

5. Approve the transaction in your Web3 wallet

6. Once the transaction has been confirmed on the blockchain, your vote has been cancelled.
